Holistic, Trauma-informed therapy in San Antonio, TX

Helping you heal, grow, and thrive

Welcome — I’m Anna Marie Somera

I believe healing isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about reconnecting with your authentic self.

I'm a holistic, trauma-informed therapist based in San Antonio, TX. I work with people who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in cycles they can't seem to break free from. Many of my clients come seeking relief from emotional pain, burnout, self-doubt, and a sense of disconnection from the life they want to be living.

My approach blends three core pathways for healing:

  • Regulating your nervous system so you can feel calmer and more present in daily life.
  • Shifting thought patterns so you can break free from stuck cycles and develop kinder, more supportive self-talk.
  • Exploring your deeper self so you can uncover what truly matters and align with your values and inner truth.

I integrate these pathways with non-judgmental listening and compassionate guidance to create a safe, supportive space that encourages real growth and change. Together, we focus on building a life where you feel more at ease, clearer about what you want, and more connected to yourself and to the people around you.

I see clients in person at my San Antonio office near Southtown, and via telehealth for anyone in Texas. Having walked my own healing path, I bring personal insight and genuine compassion to every session. If you're ready to move through overwhelm, burnout, or self-doubt toward more peace, resilience, and connection, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Who I Work With

My practice is a good fit for adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, life transitions, or a quiet sense that something feels off, even when it is hard to name exactly what. You may be high-functioning on the outside while carrying a lot on the inside. You may have tried other approaches and are ready for something that goes a little deeper.

Many of the people I work with share some of these experiences:

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in cycles that are hard to break

  • Carrying the weight of past experiences that still affect daily life

  • Struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing

  • Moving through a significant life change, such as a career shift, relationship transition, or loss

  • Feeling disconnected, unfulfilled, or unsure of who you are outside of your responsibilities

  • Wanting to feel more at home in your own body and mind
